The School Crossover Program is an accelerated course for currently licensed beauty professionals who wish to expand their expertise and obtain an additional license (e.g., Cosmetology, Barbering, or Esthetics). This program focuses exclusively on the hours and curriculum required by the TDLR to bridge the gap between your existing license and the new one, ensuring you meet all state requirements efficiently.

Lesson 1-3: Regulatory Review (3 Lessons): In-depth review of TDLR rules, regulations, and the specific curriculum requirements for the new license. Lesson 4-10: Core Practical Skills (7 Lessons): Intensive, hands-on training focused on the practical skills unique to the new license (e.g., straight-razor shaving for Cosmetologists crossing over to Barbering). Lesson 11-13: Advanced Theory (3 Lessons): Focused theory and product knowledge specific to the new license. Lesson 14-15: Licensure Prep (2 Lessons): Mock practical and written exams tailored to the crossover requirements.

How Do I Pay For School?

Cureosity Academy offers flexible payment options to manage your tuition investment: Credit-Building with BFCU: External financing through Barksdale Federal Credit Union (BFCU), which pays tuition in full. Requires a minimum credit score of 580 and 6 months of verifiable employment. Weekly In-House Payment Plan: Equal weekly payments made directly to the Academy for up to 18 months. Biweekly In-House Payment Plan: Equal biweekly payments for up to 18 months, ideal for matching a biweekly pay schedule. Cash Pay in Full: Option to pay the full tuition amount before the first day of class. Contact our admissions team for help deciding which option is best for you.

Acceleration of debt means that if a student breaks the financial agreement (e.g., missing payments or withdrawing improperly), the full remaining tuition balance becomes due immediately.
